New blog writ­ten by Stephen Ric­cia­rdelli, one of Tabim­ina Bal­intawak instruc­tors in Seat­tle, WA. The first time we met, Steve and his group, was in Ili­gan City, Philip­pines, home­town of Sir Bob in Octo­ber 2009.  We met at Iliganon (a well-known restau­rant in Ili­gan), and Sir Bob dis­cussed what is Tabim­ina Bal­intawak.  After a brief dis­cus­sion, me, Mas­ter Flint and Sir Bob did some demo and involved Steve’s group.  And the rest was history.

I have writ­ten an exten­sive blog regard­ing the lev­els in Tabim­ina Bal­intawak with Sir Bob and Sir Flint’s approval.  The peo­ple will have bet­ter under­stand­ing about our pro­gres­sion and at the same time, the stu­dents will be able to gauge, what is their cur­rent level.  We are trav­el­ling on the same road, it’s just most peo­ple are prob­a­bly walk­ing faster depend­ing on their will.

Update: 05/06/11 — I took it down tem­porar­ily.  While I was writ­ing that blog, I know for a fact that I have given a break down of what’s really going on within our sys­tem.  To those who prac­tice the art, it holds more mean­ing.  To those who doesn’t, they will learn the sys­tem faster, because they already have the infor­ma­tion, they just need to per­form.  I’m gonna have another dis­cus­sion with Sir Bob and see what he thinks.

Update: 05/09/11 — After a long dis­cus­sion with Sir Bob, the Lev­els in Tabim­ina Bal­intawak blog that I posted a cou­ple of days ago will not be posted.  The break down of the lev­els will remain within the family.

It may look and feel like it’s the same web­site, but I have to change to Word­Press since it’s eas­ier to change the con­tent with­out hav­ing to rely on too much cod­ing.  This is also in prepa­ra­tion for blog­ging and most impor­tantly, track­ing the mem­bers of tabim­ina bal­intawak.  Soon, we’re gonna have what we call a lin­eage tree, to pre­vent false claims, and to main­tain the integrity of Tabim­ina Balintawak.

Loca­tion and sched­ule of classes in the Philip­pines are now avail­able for view­ing. Will be updat­ing for the rest of the coun­tries soon.

The Sem­i­nar is finally over!!! It was a suc­cess­ful and mean­ing­ful event. A lot of skills installed and new friend­ship forged. We would like to thank all the mem­bers of Tabim­ina Bal­intawak that par­tic­i­pated in the said event. Our sin­cer­est grat­i­tude to Dr. Jonathan and Mia Fan­dalian for facil­i­tat­ing the nec­es­sary arrange­ments mak­ing the event very smooth and well organized.

For those who will be attend­ing the 2nd Tabim­ina Bal­intawak Inter­na­tional Sem­i­nar 2011, the sched­ule of activ­i­ties is now up. Please review it and book your pri­vate ses­sions ahead of time.

The list of instruc­tors has been brought to my atten­tion and I know for a fact that some names of instruc­tors we’re not listed. Please don’t be alarmed. The list was made off the top of my head. I’m still wait­ing for the offi­cial list of instruc­tors from Sir Bob him­self. I will update it, as soon as I receive the list.
