This is to inform everyone that I, Sylvester ‘Jojo’ Ygay, Head of Tabimina Balintawak USA West Coast Division will be on sabbatical leave for an indefinite period of time. Per Sir Bob’s instructions, the acting head of Tabimina Balintawak USA West Coast Division in my absence will be Arnold Domingo. Please give your support to him as you have done to me.

2012 is finally here at last and although we’ve had a couple of problems in 2011, let us put them behind us and embrace 2012 with good health, more wealth, more strength, peace of mind and a positive outlook in life.

Let me also remind you that our biggest yearly gathering entitled, The Gathering of the Wolves III is fast approaching. Although this event has been attended by the members of Tabimina Balintawak throughout the world, it is not exclusive and therefore everyone is invited. For questions and inquiries, please contact Dr. Jonathan and Mia Fandalian.

Unintentional Outcome

The blogs written by the members of Tabimina Balintawak, are their own reflection of their understanding of the art based on their personal experiences. It is not our intention to disrespect any martial arts group. That is why we urge the readers to have an open mind, so that they can relate and compare our training with their martial arts training. I think it is safe to say that it is our God given right to express and share our knowledge to the public about our art.

Unfortunately, some groups have been offended by our articles and by our remarks in the forums that Sir Bob has told me send a public apology. So in behalf of Grandmaster Bobby Tabimina and the whole Tabimina Balintawak family, we apologize to all the people we have offended.

Chain of Command

It has come to our attention that some of the instructors are not following the chain of command. It is imperative that we follow this rule and should be imposed within the Tabimina Balintawak family. This was emphasized by Sir Bob for the following reasons:

1. The quality level of instruction of Tabimina Balintawak will be maintained.

2. We can keep track of the progression of the members of Tabimina Balintawak including the instructor’s teaching ability.

3. So we can evaluate whether the person deserves to progress to the next level. Remember Sir Bob’s words, “It is I who chose you, not you who chose me.”

4. Maintain the respect towards the head of each locations and country.

5. To prevent someone from going astray.

With this in mind, all instructors should not teach beyond level 1, unless it was approved by the governing body. The instructors can recommend, which among their students are qualified to learn the rest of the levels of Tabimina Balintawak. Remember that we are not after quantity, but after the quality. Lastly, respect towards each other at all times. We should not bypass the authorities assigned in each location.

Get ready folks coz the Gathering of the Wolves III is fast approaching. Although the event’s venue is still tentative, I have spoken with Sir Bob to confirm the date. The event will be held on March 15–18, 2012 in Manila, Philippines. So file your vacation leave, and we’ll see you there.

Updated List of Instructors

The Philippines and Malaysia list of Instructors has been updated. As I have mentioned before that the list of instructors will be updated from time to time, in accordance with Grandmaster Bobby Tabimina’s decisions.
