A new blog written by one of our apprentice feeder in Iligan, Mr. Butch Baulete. It discusses about the continuous battle within yourself and discovering the true meaning of humility. It is true that we traverse on the same road, and we travel on a same journey. But one must always pace yourself in traversing the path lest you cut corners and instead fall into a ditch. One must always be cautious, in finding the true meaning of humility, and how it can become the greatest asset in learning Tabimina Balintawak.

The 3rd annual Gathering of the Wolves has come to a successful and positive conclusion! A special thanks to Grandmaster Bobby Tabimina and his 3 amazing sons, Master Flint, Master Chad and Master Dag, for their time and effort as well as Doc Jonathan and Mia Fandialan, and the rest of the coordinators. And lastly, thank you and a job well done to everyone who was able to attend and participated in the seminar and share in learning of this amazing art. We hope to see all of you and more at next years event!

It’s finally here!!! The wait is finally over. The time has come, when the skills that the members of Tabimina Balintawak, honed and developed over the years will be tested in terms of performance, virtues and understanding of the art, in this 3 day training camp.

This years theme is UNITY. Even though we are separated by seas and lands, we are in the same mind, the same vision, that the goal of Tabimina Balintawak is to spread GGM Anciong’s teaching in it’s entirety. Making sure that the true essence of Balintawak from the day of it’s conception, remains the same.

This event is also dedicated in memory of our brother in arms from Australia, who passed away last September, Mr. Troy Flugge. A dedicated member of our Tabimina Balintawak family, who puts his heart and soul in teaching martial arts.
